Which baby girl name is best?

Question

I'm 33 weeks pregnant with a baby girl, and my fiance and I are still struggling with names. We want it to be something original; my name is Jessica Marie, and I know about 6 other Jessica Marie's in my age range. I want it to be something different, but not one of those names that you get a confused look over, wondering how in the world a parent could name their kid that name. Here's our top choices:

Daicie Renae

Aislynn Nichole (pronounced ACE-lin)

Danica Nichole

Hayleigh Jordan

Paisley Nichole

I was just wondering what everyone's opinions are on the names. I know it's ultimately gotta be what we as her parents want, but a little input from the outside would be nice.

we were going to name our son had he been a girl--hayli katherin--but, a cade nathanael was born instead. so i would go with hayleigh jordan. that is also the name our friends were going to name their baby (hayley jordan), but another boy is due in about 4 weeks. her dad has a christian band called halo jordan so that is where it came from. they are naming him matthew hunter. i think that danica is cute, not heard as often as the others. danica jordan would be very cute.

I like Danica Nichole....but you have to think..there is a famous indy car driver, named, Danika. You're probably going to get a lot of questions as to if you named her after the indy car driver.

I like paisley also. Maybe Pas for a nickname.

I honestly don't like any of them. Try to ignore the ee's at the end everybody does that now days. She doesn't want to be the 5th girl in the class with the same name as well!

anything you have to put in ( ) to pronounce is probably a bad idea...It's a cute name but will your 3/4/5 year old (depending on when she starts school (don't forget about pre-k trying to learn to spell your name) be able to crank that out? If you just glance at it I don't have to type what it looks like and what it will most likely be misinterpreted for if she's not there to correct them [ think job interview, college app, etc ] Danica is a nice name - Daicie (and please don't take this personally) sounds kind of stripper pole to me. I always tell new parents to remember that some day your child will be introducing him/herself in a board room and it's cool to be unique but not over the edge. I have a normal/common name as well but as hard as it was to be labeled with a last inital every few years in school I don't have to extend a hand or respond to an email and say Hi my name is xxxx, that's spelled/pronouced xxxxxxiefghmcxx.

A lot of people will just hack the pronounciation of that. :)  It's pretty.  But my dog is Ace, so Id say...neigh.
