Which base is better? Yokota or Misawa? What are pros and cons of each? ?

Yokota is by far better, not because the base itself is better, but because of where it is located, you will never get board.

Also, good beaches are closer, and the natives are more used to foreigners, so if you can't speak Japanese, that is a plus.

Misawa is in northern Japan while Yokota is in western suburb of Tokyo.

If you want to have fun in a city, Yokota is much better because you can easily get to Tokyo downtown.

But if you like nature, maybe Misawa is better.

Since Misawa is in northern Japan, it's very cold in winter. But it's very hot around Yokota. It's the matter of whether you like cold or hot weather.
