  1. Hi K

Squier combo bass pak is a good buy. You are a beginner and you can't go wrong with this combo.

Once your ear is developed, you will know what sound appeals to you or not as this is more on a personal basis. Scheter Bas is also a very good bass for beginner or pros.

Acoustic guitar?  Get a Takaminie. The sound, finish and fingerboard are superb and this guitar doesn't need maintenance. They are well set at the factory and you can even put .009 extra light without any truss rod adjustment.

Plus, the re-sale value is just as good as Fender, Gibson etc....

  2. Neither of those links are working.

A good acoustic guitar?  I've been recommending the Ibanez - SGT series lately.  But there are many brands and models.

  3. Well for your bass question, I would say go with the squier, there good and you get quite a bit of quality from them.

As for the acoustic I would recommend Fender, Gibson or Epiphone (i don't know the squier acoustics)

  4. go with the squier bass, because fender is known to make good basses, Oh and for a guitar ibanez and dean have nice and cheap acoustics,

  5. I would say Ibanez

  6. Visit different retail outfitters try all sorts pick what feels and sounds good to you.You will develope preferences and be sure it fits you and your needs.
