well ghambir i have thought highly of for a while, when india where here in summer i couldnt work out why jaffer was playing ahead of him in the tests

yusuf pathan has impressed me tho, has done very well, albie morkel worries me i must admit, i know already how strong south africa is without him adding to the list

For me it's been a tie between Adam Gilchrist and Mike Hussey.

The best batsman that i like the most till date in IPL is "David Hussey" he is a very agressive batsman & a very sensible player as seen on the field with the kind of consistency in him. He is a lovely fielder too.

David Hussey has proved to be a bolt from the blue for the opposition. He was heard for the first time in India just a few months back during the IPL auction. But he proved himself, his worth. So, I suggest its David Hussey.

I shall restrict my opinion to the Indians on view.

Sehwag and Gambhir are doing a great job opening for Delhi.

I am thrilled with the performance of Yusuf Pathan. He is the real discovery of the tournament and a promising asset for India.

Among the batsmen in IPL only Gambhir, Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Virender Sehwag had maintained some consistency.  Though there have been great knocks from other batsmen, they have not been consistent.
