I'm not sure which betteries to buy that can save me money in the long term so. Which energizer battery last longer under extreme temperatures, performs better, cost cheaper, last longer in any device, and is just the best battery you can possibly get Energizer Lithium or Energizer Industrial (It doesn't matter what battery but if you have to choose AAA batteries) or if you know of a better battery name it?

In my opinion I think Industrial are the best of the best period!

  1. This is highly subjective.

As someone else has mentioned the industrial batteries are just rebranded alkaline batteries for institutions.

Lithium batteries are a bit confusing though; there are DISPOSABLE lithium batteries for sale now that are quite expensive. They are suitable for some high-drain type devices like digital cameras but the extra cost might not be worth it for some. They are also a bit better for cold weather situations since they will hold their voltage longer at colder temps.

The rechargeable type of Lithium batteries are called Lithium-Ion batteries. These can be found in standard sizes, bu they still are not overly common yet and are also expensive. NiMH rechargeable batteris are more common and likely more economical.  I agree that a rechargeable battery is better for the environment and cheaper to operatate in the long term.

  2. I'm a strong believer in rechargeable Nickel Metal-Hydride (Ni-MH) batteries. I feel I get the most use out of them.

  3. Energizer Industrial batteries are the exact same batteries offered to consumers (with the silver labels) except they are specially priced for government and commercial buyers.

Lithium batteries are a whole new breed, if you want a rechargeable battery that last a long time they are the best.
