I'm going to be in Spain in July and I want to spend a week at the beach. What's the best beach in Costa del Sol... I was considering Puerto Banus or Benalmedena... are either of them really nice or should we go to Barcelona?? I'm going with my boyfriend (we're both 29), we're not major party animals but we would like to go out to a couple nice lounges/bars and restaurants. We also want to see a bull fight....

  1. we are going to feungirola costa del sol for second time beach great.and we are beside benemedena torromerlenos

  2. I live on the Costa del Sol. The best beaches in the Málaga area are without a doubt to be found in the town of Nerja. I've have been coming to Spain for 30 years and I've lived here for three years.

Nerja is a beautiful town by the sea. It has cove like beaches. The biggest and most popular is Burriana Beach. It has awards for good bathing. Nerja has retained the charm of an old Spanish town unlike the over-commercialised places like Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola.

Nerja is situated about an hours drive to the east of Málaga airport.

Behind Nerja and on the edge of the coastal mountains is the most beautiful village in Andalucia. That is Frigilliana. The scenery in the Nerja area is stunning. There are many interesting white villages (pueblo blancos) in the mountains beyond.

I'm lucky, I go to Nerja often. In all of the years I haven't tired of this place.

Wherever you decide you should have fun.

  3. The beaches in Cadiz are out of this world. And as far as a good bullfight the Andalusian region has the best.
