Question:

Which bird pet? 10 points to answer?

i want to get a pet bird but no budgies since i have some and dont want more so which should i get and please list the price and where i can get them and maybe some web sites on how to care for it and i can get any bird except ones that need wildlife licenses i also dont go out much so i have lots of time

  1. I agree with everyone else. Either a Cockatiel, or if you're older than 17 and are really serious about bird-ownership & willing to learn, a Quaker Parrot or Conure.

    Just google "Quaker Parrot" and you'll find plenty of websites with information on them. Same goes for the Conures


  2. I've never owned a cockateil so I can't vouch for them.  A Quaker or a Conure runs about $300 at a pet store.  They are really smart birds, I've seen them dance, sing, say *mom*, eat off of their owners plate, give kisses.

  3. I would get a cockatiel, there awesome birds!  

  4. Haha, ok my recommend thing is the cockatiel, its loving and inexpensive you can buy it from a breeder(what i recommend) or a pet shop <<( ]:)
