Which bird should I get? Finch or Parakeet?

Question

I work most of the time, but I'm always home in the evenings. I'd like a bird to be some what of a companion, but I'm not sure which bird is easier to care for/which is more sociable and will require more attention. Any suggestions?

If you want a bird that will sit on your shoulder and interact with you, choose the parakeet.  If you want a bird that you can just enjoy watching and listening to, choose the finch.  

A finch doesn't require any hands-on interaction but if you choose a parakeet you'll need to interact with him or her daily.  Both are wonderful birds.

get a parakeet I head 2 and thy were sooooooo sweet.

after if will get use to you he/she will love to spend time with you play with you and do stuff with you.

parakeet especially if you keep just one it will bond w you also read

some books on these special little "clowns"

finches are social and don't attach to their people owners they are

happier alone in big cages in big no's
