Which blue-ray player do you have? Are you happy with it?

What are the pro's and con's about yours?

I am considering the Panasonic BMP-DB30. Would you recommend yours?

I would go with the PS3. You are going to pay as much for the Panasonic player PLUS with the PS3 you will have a HD gaming console,you can't beat that.Also a upconverting dvd player,and the PS3 is upgradeable through an internet connection.So that means when the next firmware/version of bluray players come out,yours will not be outdated as you can upgrade the PS3's bluray through their upgrades. The PS3 bluray player is future proof.

If you know you wouldn't connect your player to the network then the Panasonic is fantastic. If however you want auto updates and BD Live feature then wait for the Sony BDP-S350. It is profile 2.0 (the Pana. is Profile 1.1) and will be cheaper ($350-$399)

i got the ps3 playing blu ray and its great.  plus, it doubles as a high tech game console.

my computer came with a blue ray driver in it and its a dell xps. and i love it its soooo clear!

PS3 ITS AMAZING DEFINITELY GREAT AS A BLUE RY PLAYER AND MUCH CHEAPER.

Mine is PS3 and I' m happy with it. I get superb sound DTS-HD Master when playing Blu-ray movies.
