  1. Both are  the same,hydrogen nuclear takes place by nuclear fussion which requires million temperature of energy to take place while atomic boom deals with the nucleus of an atom which can also be hydrogen or helium atoms.

  2. hydrogen and atom are both nuclear...

  3. The phrases atom bomb and nuclear bomb refer to all bombs that derive their explosive force from nuclear reactions.  Atom bomb was the first term used and is associated most strongly with bombs made primarily of Uranium 235 (90% enriched or greater). The atoms are forced to fission (split apart) very rapidly and this causes liberation of great quantities of energy.  Approximately 200 Mev. per fission.

    The term Hydrogen bomb is used to denote the newer generation of bomb which is a two stage process.  The first part of the explosion is a standard fission explosion like the earlier bombs.  The primary focous of this explosion however is to cause a pressurized container of Hydrogen to fuse into Helium.  This greatly increases the magnitude of explosion making it able to be much stronger than the simpler fission only bombs.

    As to which countries have each type here is the best info I have on it;

    Fission only - North Korea, Pakastan, India

    Hydrogen and fission - Russia (and sattalite states from USSR), China, USA, Isreal, Great Britan.
