  1. The only thing that is better is the duty and that depends on what you want out of your service to your country.

    Vet-USAF

  2. they are all the same because they are all part of the same government..and so are the perks..only difference is what branch you decide to pick they will have different schools...talk to the various recruiters

  3. ACTUALLY THEY ARE NOT THE SAME!!!!!!!!  The Marine Corps pays the most for tution assistance 4500 a year. With that being said you are less likely to use it because the Marine Corps will do everything in their power to keep you busy as heck. Besides that G.I. Bill and all the other stuff is the same. Depending on your job you will probably get more time to attend college in the military while in other branches.

  4. yeah marines by a little because they go through extra training. but I'm in the army and i don't know much about the marines benefits.

  5. They are all the same as far as pay and benefits go.

  6. air force

  7. Army

  8. College programs are the same.

The Navy pays more in terms of take home pay every month,

And in terms or Re-Enlistment bonuses.

    SRB cap is now $90k

  9. As far as I know pay and everything are exactly the same.  The only differences would be in enlistment bonuses I think

  10. This is what a ex-marine told me:

A 30 mile walk in one night---you cannot pamper your blisters, you cannot allow yourself to be tired, you have to make it or you are out(Paris Island, SC).

You have to jump in the water with your uniform and boots on and swim.  Someone told me that there is a crocodile on a chain in that pool, but I am not sure if that's true.

You have to endure a lot more in marine training then you do in basic training---and since the pay is no higher than regular army would I not opt for marines...
