  1. Why the heck would you want to join the military...esp to study tornadoes?....silly

  2. Air Force

They have very strong weather studies going on more than any other branch.

  3. Air force!

  4. My father was a Meteorologist in the Air Force and learned about all aspects of weather.  You might talk to an Air Force recruiter and see if they offer training in that area.  Good Luck!

  5. Air Force or Navy

  6. All branches have weather related jobs.  In the Navy the job is called an AG = Aerographer. Awesome job that a lot of people do not know anything about but you can get some great places to be stationed all over the world and on any kind of ship.   If you want to only do tornadoes go to college and study it there.

  7. i agree with the AF....but to Celestis's answer...i hope you know that just about every job you can do in the civilian world you can do in the military!!!!

  8. Marine Science Technicians in USCG study weather.

  9. The Air Force has a weather job.

Studying tornadoes wouldn't be a large part of the job unless you're stationed in an area that has them frequently.

Here's a link to the job description.

  10. Im not sure......probably the branch that has the best weather broadcasting job..... For some reason the word...Air Force is popping out.

Your best bet is to talk to reruiters for the Marines, Army, USAF, and Navy..... Each one will enlighten you with information... Tell them what you want to do in your future... ask them what they have that will help get you there.

Best of luck, sorry i couldnt help you more!
