Which brand do you think sells the best sparring gloves, and head gear ?

I'm looking to purchase some gear for full contact sparring, please help me decide...

They carry TONS of good stuff -- boxing gear, muay thai gear, mma gear, and even some TKD stuff. Nothing I've ever bought from combat sports has let me down. My MMA gym buys mostly from them and has been very pleased.

They carry stuff from top names, like Windy, Fairtex, Grant, and Cleto Reyes, etc

Really great prices on the equipment too. But the best thing is, they've got pretty much anything/everything you could ever want. For instance, they've got like 60 different pairs of boxing gloves, 40 something pairs of mma gloves, and a crapload of other equipment. They also sell training clothing, bags, shingaurds, cups, headgear, the works.

Check it out. And be sure to check out the sales. I've saved up to 30 dollars on equipment before.

Concurring with RNJ, Combat Sports International has a great selection.  Almost anything they have is quality product.  Highly recommended.

I find that CENTURY works really good. just enough padding so that you know you are being hit and you feel it but not so little that you can get hurt.

Make sure you purchase gear for full contact and not light contact or sport karate fighting.  Century has some that is not bad and is moderately priced however if you are a heavy-weight you may want to consider Ringside, or Everlast equipment as well.  I have found that they tend to offer things a larger variety of sizes, it tends to be a little more durable, and fits a little better although Century is not bad.  I might also add that you will pay for that with Ringside or Everlast but sometimes when you get by on the cheap it ends up costing you more in the long run.  You might want to check and see what the other people are using and where they are getting it.  Someone might have a wholesale account and be able to get you a deal.
