  1. Titleist Vokey... Spin milled.  By far my favorite!!!  Mass bite on the ball.

  2. Depends on what you are looking for.

Titleist, Taylormade, and Cleveland I think are the leading brands in wedges.

    For Spin - Titleist

    For Feel - Cleveland

    For Control -  Taylormade

Just depends on which one YOU like the best, not necessarily the best wedge made.

  3. ..

  4. Specific wedges can very...Standard, Gap, Sand

My favorite is my 52 degree Taylormade Black.

Overall I would pick Cleveland as a brand!

Never heard of anyone unhappy with a Cleveland.

    Especially 52 and 48 degree

    They are are very consistant.

Take the same swing on each... only difference 12 yards.

Your wife could buy you a Cleveland wedge !

  5. That is based on different perspectives.  Cleveland began as a wedge company so that would give them the edge.  Don't mention Callaway because the guy that designed Cleveland wedges now designs Callaway wedges.  Mizuno makes excellent wedges, so does Titleist, and so does Nike.  Sample different brands and decide for yourself which brand you like.

I Drive Al is not correct in his assertion about Tiger's wedges.  I have the same sand wedge Tiger Woods uses.  I've been using it before Tiger started using it.  HMMM!

  6. there one call the F2  very good find it on ebay

  7. i like the titleist vokey designs

i've been using them for 2 years now and they've helped my short game so much..that's just my opinion...there are plenty of great types out there that are pretty cheap

*make sure you clean your wedges grooves to optimize efficiency

  8. Cleveland.....the best wedges.

  9. Love my Vokey 2.56.14 AMAZING out of the sand, I also have a 2.52.4 Vokey as well.  Love them both!

The 2 stands for 200 series, the 56 is the loft of the club and the 14 is how many degrees of bounce is one the sole of the club.

In my case the 14 degrees of bounce basically limits it to a sand wedge and ONLY a sand wedge.  I can't really use it around the green or on hard-pan.  That high degree of bounce is only useful in the sand.

P.S. -  Tiger used Vokey wedges for a LONG time, before nike said they'd design him custom wedges with their logo on them that play just as well.  (not available to the public)

  10. Titleist vokey of course is the powerhouse. I personally like the ping tour wedges. The have very good spin and control on the shots. Look awesome, too. Trying them out is the only way to be sure, though.
