Which brand is better sony or panasonic?

I prefer Sony but it will cost more.

I never bought any Panasonic device. However I have had so many problems with sony (Laptop, PS3, mobile phones, a DVD-RW drive and a TV set). ALL of them had issues. And guess what? The Sony's after sales and customer support is rubbish. When you but it, they are always prompted to quote you happy. But when you need them, they are never there for you.

What I did?

I THREW my PS3 AWAY and so the mobile phone. I sold the TV and bought a new DVD-RW drive. I'm happy now with my XBOX 360, my Nokia phone, my Liteon drive and my Philips TV.

Whatever you do, don't buy Sony. They suck.

Panasonic.

For starters, sony electronics are VERY POORLY and CHEAPLY made.

Having had several sony electronic in the past....they went from screws, metal frames, and metal covers.....to brittle plastic and cheap glue, and the prices went up...

The cheap glue is in the image sensors themselves and actually causes the image sensor to come apart and just display static and black video.

So avoid Sony cameras, not to mention any other Sony electronics, unless you want a brick really soon.

I have never had trouble with canon or panasonic cameras..

I have a Panasonic AG-HVX200, and its a very solid camera....no cheap plastic feel and even the lens hood is metal....

If you dont believe me....go to a frys electronics and pick up a sony and a panasonic...you will literally feel how cheap a $3000 sony prosumer camera is...
