  1. When playing golf, you and your golf clubs become partners and together you play the game. Golf clubs are made for gender, height, skill level and aesthetic preferences. It’s not necessary to buy the best to begin but you should purchase a set of clubs for your skill level and your purpose. If you’re only going to play a couple of times a week you might not want or need a set of clubs that a daily player might want. Sets of golf clubs range from under a hundred dollars to thousands of dollars. The resale value of women’s golf clubs is pretty good so you can start with a fairly inexpensive set and work your way up to the better ones.

Three of the novice to intermediate ones that I like are :

    The Affinity Crossfire Set

    The Wilson Hope Set

    Lady Fairway HSL Set

All three of these sets are affordable and give you what you need including the bag and headcovers.  Reviews of these three sets appear on my website.

  2. This depends on how committed you are and what the size of your budget is.  You can get a great beginner's set from one of the well known brands, such as Ping, Callaway, Titleist, Taylor Made, and others but this will set you back a pretty penny.

As a beginner, I would recommend going down to your local superstore like Sports Authority or d**k's Sporting Goods and picking up a full set for $100 - $200.  At your stage, the clubs you use won't matter.  It isn't worth being fitted for anything expensive at this time because as you improve at the game your swing changes and your fitted clubs will not suit you anymore.  Wait a year or so until you find your groove.

Plus, if you don't like the game you will only be out a few hundred dollars, versus a thousand or more.

  3. Get on ebay and get yourself some nice clones.  Same technology and almost looks, with out the high ticket.

I own the R7s for normal scheduled games , and have the T7s in my car for emergency rounds

  4. Two companies come to mind specifically. One is Callaway, the other is Ping. Both have a great reputation as offering clubs designed to help the beginner play better golf. If you want more specifics though, you could see a local club outfitter.

  5. You can check out the links below for beginner's golf set. I personally use them, and I they're great.

  6. There are plenty of brands for begginers. just ask a proffesional at a store theyll help you out. Avoid clubs like callaway and titelist. both are very expensive.
