I'm doing a survey for a marketing class I'm taking.

Brand Resonance refers to the extent to which customers feel “in sync” with the brand.

  1. Well there are a number of brands that resonate with/for me.  I've just leased a car so that brand is rather upfront:  I leased a Toyota specifically because of the quality expectations and trust I have in Toyota (my first Toyota vehicle).  Additionally Toyota appears to have an environmental commitment, although ironically the vehicle I lease was a Rav4 and was not available as a hybrid.

  2. I believe you feel "in sync" with the brand because you feel as if it was suits your lifestyle or possibly even because the brand stands for what you want or what you would like.

I'm not sure if you mean any brand in GENERAL but a certain clothing brand, like sinful clothing, can make me feel like it fits me and the lifestyle I lead. Their style is a variation of the t-shirt and jeans style I tend to wear[which suits my lifesyle] but is also toward a darker side that I would like to wear more often[what I would like/stands for what I want].

  3. I drive a Scion Xb specifically because it is "quirky." I'll take Target over any other big box retailer because I feel like they care about more than price - it just feels right to shop there. Tazo Tea - the package design is a huge influence on me. Apple (I'm on a MacBook Pro right now) - I've been a rabid Mac supporter since 1987 when I first used one. I used an Apple the for the first time somewhere around 1981. Tom's Toothpaste gives me the sense that I'm doing something just a touch healthier from myself and my environment when I brush with Tom's. Same sort of thing with Aveda hair products. That'll give you some starters for your survey. Good luck! And have fun!
