  1. Turning it off burns less, but constantly restarting means your starter motor won't last as long.  If you know it's a long red light, heck yeah, I do it.


  2. Turning it off at a long red light burns less gas.

  3. Depends on how old your car is. on older cars, it is better to just leave your engine running because turning it back on takes lots of gas. On newer cars, it is better to turn it off. Turning the engine back on won't use much gas, you'll end up saving money and gas.
