       In India we can do many business with 20lachks if you are educateded 1.you can start one school  from LKG TO 5TH Std.2.  Medical shop can start 3.invest vetible vender for commission shop can open4. covercing product like cocount shell to coir, old paper to card board,old rubber to recycle product  can do.If you are illarated  1. gather thepeopleto take farm work 2. old paper purchaing and sellin, old iron scrap collectin, and  so on.

BUT

you havemoney but without knowldge dont do anything until know th business. better to invest post office.

Not everybody can do every business.

U must do what u like.

Some like coal & iron biz some like TV, PC, gold & diamond biz. Some like oil biz some Kabari job.

Also depends on demand of locality u r doing biz.

General goods , Medicine shop & kirana shop do good biz anywhere. I hear "sweetmeat shops " double there capital every year. Still all these are pron to loss sometimes. Manufacturing industries are much pron to losses & less profit returns.

If profits are less than 30% PA then investment in property biz is best & safest. I know some cities where U can even earn 50% PA profit PA.

Lot of them man... 20 lakh is a pretty substantial amount... there are also certain businesses which require no major investment at all with superb returns like real estate... use ur money well
