I read that it was B and Z, but I never got it to work consistently.  Others have had the same problem.  It's sad, but when you're unlocking the more difficult levels, sometimes turning off the hand markers is the only way to get a decent score.

I've also heard people swear that the buttons work beautifully for them, though, so give yours a shot and see if it'll behave for you!
