Which cable hookup will give me the HIGHEST quality sound from my HTPC to my Audio Receiver?

My guess is using an OPTICAL cable hookup from the HTPC to my DENON receiver. Is this the best way to go?

You will get the same sound quality by using optical or coaxial digital audio

Either optical or DIGITAL coaxial will give you the best sound.  You could do HDMI as well if your HTPC and receiver supported it.  Any of these options provides the same quality.
