  1. It is really a matter of personal choice.

Would look great in a princessy room, however one concern is cleaning. I have seen these cages like this before, and it can be extremely difficult to clean, as there are only one or two small openings. It can also be hard to capture the hamsters. Otherwise it is a great cage and the hamsters will have fun with the lookout.

Looking closer at this one, it actually looks quite small. The tubes and stuff hanging off the sides make it look bigger, but the inner room, which the hamsters will be spending most of their time, is quite tiny. The huge wheely thing on the top can also be a potential health risk. If the hamster scurries up there and isn't careful it could fall through the wheel's tunnel and hurt itself. Also, the bars a high up off the ground, so the hamsters would have to stand on their toes to reach the bottle.

Much better than the Dazzle one. I love the slide, but it is rather pointless considering they cannot get up it. I cannot see a ladder going up. If this is the case, you have two choices: glue a gripping mat onto the surface of the slide so they can walk up and down the slide, but cannot slide down it. Or you can find a way to fit a ladder in there somewhere. Considering the inner room is also small, I would make the green 'upstairs' area on the right the bedroom, with the hay and newspaper, etc.

The simple, yet great design of the typical hamster cage. Perfect, in my opinion. The cage is not overladen by enormous tunnels and lookouts that the hamsters probably wont use anyway. There is plenty of room for the hamsters to walk freely. I can also see two food holders which is terrific for two hamsters. This lets them both eat at the same time but in different places, so there is less fighting over food.

However, make sure the hamsters are siblings or have lived together since birth. (And make sure they are the same gender). If not, they will fight and, although the fights themselves may not be lethal, the stress put on the smaller one is enough to kill it.

  2. id say the medium size one because there not that big of hamster and if you want a normal home for them get number two

  3. Each cage would be fine. They're plenty big enough. As for which one to get, it really depends on if it's a boy or a girl. Get the one you like best!

  4. GO for the critter trail X.

I would advise you to look at a habitrail Safari/playground/Mini

as they can be added onto and have great ventilation.

  5. the secend one.

Read this for why not to get a cage with wire bars.

None of those are a  large enough size to house a pair of dwarf hamsters. They also have a number of other problems.

For dwarf pairs, you really need a bin cage

  7. did you buy the hamsters together, if you didn't one will kill the other. they are very territorial. if you did than i would suggest one will lost of dark places and running room. no bigger than a gallon tank is needed though critter trail x looks nice but you dont need to spend a lot of money on the cage for the hamters to be happy : food, water and a funny little wheel is fine.

  8. i like # three (critter trail X)
