I know that plastic cages prevent a lot of ventilation, and for the hamster to climb on,

and

the wire cages often have too big of openings.

Which would be better for a dwarf hamster?

Please, any and all answers appreciated.

The first, second & fourth cages would probably be the best for your hamster. You should put something over the shelves though so the wire doesn't hurt it's feet. How would you like living on wire almost 24/7?

    Hope I helped! :D

  2. I'd make a bin cage. They are cheap, easy to make, and great for hamsters! They provide a lot of room for hamsters. I have a bin cage and it is currently housing two dwarf hamsters.

  4. bin cages if u want to make them look them up on google

  5. Wire cages, but make sure that the space between the wires isn't too big, or else your hamster will be on the loose.

  6. i've had dwarf hamsters before.

never get a girl for your boy :|

anyways, i had a plastic one with bars, never escaped.

but they did chew on the bars, which was really annoying..
