  1. In Sweden we use the Gregorian calendar.

It spans from January to December. the number of days are stated below.

    January 31

    February 28 or 29

    March 31

    April 30

    May 31

    June 30

    July         31

    August 31

    September 30

    October 31

    November 30

    December 31

  2. Yes, in Sweden we use the Gregorian calendar, too.

Starting with January and ending with December. 365 days (366 days on leapyear).

However, one interesting fact is that we refer to the week number constantly. There are 52 weeks. Of course week 1 starts on January 1st and week 52 ends on New Years eve. For example, if you are going on vacation the entire month of July, you say that you're going on vacation from weeks 26-29.

It seems confusing at first, but it is rather useful.

  3. Ok maybe I am missing the point, but Sweden uses the same calender as virtually all (if not all) of the rest of the Western European countries being the Gregorian calendar

    Is this what you mean?
