Which calibre is best for me?

I am in need of a rifle to shoot both kangaroos and foxes and would love some insight into which calibre i should choose? the fox pelt is not to be collected i simply need to eradicate both animals. which is the preffered calibre and why?

.243 will do the job ..... but .308 is better.

.338 Lapua Magnum or .458 Weatherby

I shoot many roos and foxes and have great success with a 223 and a 22-250 , i prefer the 22-250 for a longer flatter trajectory and it simply outshoots the 223 but a 223 is cheaper and still shoots exellent , if u can only get one then a 22-250 wont let u down , just a great long distance calibre.
