I wouldn't do any of those hard drive based camcorders. The video is compressed too much. Instead, take a look at the miniDV tape based camcorders (DCR-HC52, HC62, HDR-HC9). DV (and HDV) does not compress video data as much as the others - resulting in better video quality.

BUT, if you are somehow stuck on the lesser video quality of a hard drive based camcorder, go for the SR75.
