Hawaiian Punch came right about when Hawaii became the fiftieth state to join the union, which was more than fifty years ago. The current brand owner is Cadbury Schweppes. Tahitian Treat is bottled by Canada Dry, which is now owned by Cadbury Canada, which is the reason that it is hard to find in the US now.

Hawaiian Punch was probably out first because it was created in 1934.

Tahitian Treat is considered to be more of a soda-but has less carbonation.  Hawaiian Punch is not carbonated- it has 7 fruit juices in it.  Dr Pepper/Seven Up makes them both.
