well i once saw a postcard,chicken and egg in bed together. the chicken was relaxed having a cigarette and the egg look puzzled. From the picture we discovered that the chicken "came" first lol

small particles, then over thousands or million of years it evolved in living creatures that eventually went out of the water. Then the first species were born, the species evolved and in the case of the chicken, over years and years it evolved more and more into what we know call a chicken. so....i guess  living cells came first!

God didn't create chickens.  Farmers created chickens a few thousand years ago through selective breeding of the Red Junglefowl.  Answering that God created the chicken first, aside from being an irrational assertion with absolutely no supporting evidence whatsoever, demonstrates an ignorance of what a chicken actually is, a domesticated subspecies created by humans.  So even if creationism weren't thoroughly disproved by virtually all of geology, cosmology and biology, it would still be absurd to suggest that the chicken came first.

The Red Junglefowl, incidentally, would be the bird which laid the first chicken egg.
