Which came first: boy scouts or girl scouts?

Were boy scouts established first, or were girl scouts established first. I would also like to know who invented s'mores.

Lord Baden Powell started a Boy Scout program in England in the early 1900's. It was made official in 1907.

One of his sisters started the Girl Guides and Scouts based off his program a few years later because of the demand from British girls for something similar.

They showed up early in Girl Scout books, but were probably based on common snacks from earlier times.

Boy Scouts of America were founded in 1910. Girl Scouts of America were founded two years later.
