Hi Ceez.   The answer to your question is ...  the camera that is BETTER FOR YOU..   No one here can answer that for you.    I have written before.....  you are asking  a question that cannot be realistically answered by the majority of participants here,  as most only have one or the other.  The owners of Nikon think theirs is better.  The owners of Pentax think theirs is better...   so, if it comes out a tie... who do you believe?   The best answer is to check them out for yourself.  First by going on a camera review site, such as DPReview (.com) and reading about the special features both cameras have.  Second, go in to a retail store and look at the cameras in person.  Hold them in your hands,  Chat with the sales person and ask all the questions you have about the cameras you are considering.    Then make your decision.  To make a decision based on biased personal opinions is unwise and could lead to an untimately unhappy purchase.   Good Luck... and camera shopping is fun!!  (*-~) <a wink.
