I just bought a canon powershot A720 IS digital camera. Am I making a right choice between these 2 models? I bought powershot because of its 6x optical zoom cos I feel that it can zoom in more..haha.. but I feel that I'm buying an outdated or so called 'old' model, because it isn't pocket size, and my friends around me have those pocket size cameras..uhmm..so which is a better choice for me..in terms of quality? Or can someone assure me that I've made the right choice? Anyway these are the descriptions:

Powershot A720 IS

bigger (200g)

6x optical zoom

use 2 AA batteries (alkaline / rechargeable)

made in china

$449

  1. Have you tried taking pictures yet? Cameras aren't out of date after one year. Both are good cameras... it's how you use them that counts.
