Which camera is better in photo quality?

Panasonic has 10x zoom, while the canon has 3x. That's a real advantage if you enjoy wildlife photography. The panasonic also starts wider than the Canon, at 28 mm, which means it's more suitable for landscapes and capturing a wider image. As for the final image quality, I think it's a tough call, try holding and using them in your local store and see which one you prefer most.
