Which camera should I buy for work?

Question

I will be filming mostly outdoors and will need it to have the capability of adding a mic, for interviews. I will also be doing some fast performance shoots in the bright sun (Florida). Although most of the video will be uploaded to the net, I would like to have the capability of shooting HD for other projects. The video will be downloaded to my PC for editing. I have to stay under $2,000. ... it looks like high end consumer cameras end at 1,000 and pro-sumer cameras (what I would like) average at $3,500

i prefer sony camera as i have used a sony brand for some years.

if u have a mac make sure not to buy any thing in the sony brand

what ever people tell u make sure its compatible with ur computer and don't rely on the people at the store they usually don't know what they r talking about

If you are looking to do this for a business I would advise you to go all out and buy one of the more expensive brands of cameras, but if its only a one time thing go for a higher end Sony camera and get some computer software that goes with it so you can edit it all on your pc with ease.
