Which camera should I buy out of . . .?

sony dsc-w300 (with 13.6mp)

OR

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX500 (with 10mp)????????????

(in addition to a canon g9)

i wud say sony dsc-w300 however the panasonic has extra stuff like scene modes and stuff i thnk... jst look at the websites i gues =]

y would a camera have 13 mega pix???I believe that many pix is totally pointless at such a highnumber. people get caught up in the numbers game when they go to buy cameras. I work at Target in the elecs. dept.......... it's crazy the number of people who just want to get a camera with the most MP. not considering the zoom or which camera has a better lens or produce s a better picture..... buy the camera that u want the most, personally I buy canon  cameras because of easy of use, and the picture quality is top notch.........
