Which camera type has better quality and more reliable???? Canon or Sony??

If you're looking for a DSLR, you're better comparing Canon and Nikon.  It's a toss-up between these 2.

I think Canon is better Sony's DSLR is not really fully developed yet and in fact Canon is very good like the quality is better i would prefer Canon

And A200 is not really good

For a start (other repliers) you'd be hard pushed to find a Kodak DSLR - it's not impossible, but you'll struggle, and certainly would not recommend it!

Now, as it happens, I've spent that last 4 weeks trying to answer the exact same question - Sony or Cannon. The answer I came up with? Sony! They have released a new set of DSLR's in the last few months, and all have received great reviews. (Remember, Sony DSLR's are basically Minoltas - once one of the most trusted & respected SLR brands!). I've actually settled on the Sony A300 - if you can afford it (and find it!) I would suggest the upgrade, as you get live view, which is unique from the live view found on ANY other DSLR (well, expect the A350!).

On a price vs features vs photo quality, you get a lot more for your money with a Sony, especially at the entry level DSLR level which you seem to be looking at!
