Question:

Which candidate has the most experience?

If you want a job as a plumber your work as an electrician isn't really applicable. And if you're trying to get hired as a quarterback nobody cares if you used to play linebacker. Likewise if you want a job as the head of the executive branch your work as a legislator isn't exactly relevant. So which candidate, of the four main presidential and vice presidential candidates, has relevant experience in an executive role? Obama? McCain? Biden? Palin? For the record an executive role would be president, vice president, cabinet position, governor, lieutenant governor, or mayor.

  1. Based on your criteria, Palin is the only candidate with any executive experience. I would give McCain  and Biden a tie for second since they have had the chance to watch how it is done for a long time. (At least the electrician may have seen the plumber work.)

Obama is completely out of place. He hasn't had time to learn how to be a Senator yet.

  2. Come on, we all already know the answer to that question.

I can tell you of two people that don't have any of the above and they both happen to be on the same ticket.

  3. Palin has the most experience of the four and McCain/Palin ticket is the most qualified by far.

  4. Biden and McCain have the most experience!!!!

Palin doesn't have very much... But neither does Hussien.

Infact, just a month or two before Bill Clinton's "touching" speech, he was dogging BO because of his lack of experience.

  5. Obama is not qualified,

  6. ActuallyMcCain does...But what do you mean by "experience" ?

  7. They say experience will help but I say look at the way all that experience has gotten us. We need change, that is why I am voted for Obama hope you will too

  8. By that logic, a man who is mayor of a town of 250 for 6-7 years has more "executive" experience than anyone else mentioned.

Why not move Palin to the top of the ticket?

To use your analogy, though, would you want your starting NFL QB to be someone who played RB in the NFL or someone who was a QB for a semi-pro team?

2 more quick points:  George W. Bush had more "executive" experience than Sarah Palin, and he is the worst president at least in my lifetime.

Also, d**k Cheney stated that the VP isn't even in the executive branch, so how is that experience relevant, anyway?

  9. Technically, Palin does.

  10. first of all. Your talking about President of the United States. IF being governor really means you have experience then George Bush has more experience then all of them. But that said...you don't have experience till you actually get into the white house. You can be governor for 20 years but it's still not like being president of over 300 million people, and the free world.
