Everyone and their mother has told me that the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry are the two best cars on the market today, but which one really has the better reputation? Speaking of the 4 cylinder models only, which one gets better gas mileage? Cost less to own as far as needing repairs and whatnot?

  1. Actually, it's neither of them. The best to maintain model for generations is either the Honda Civic or the Hyundai Sonata. Honda Accord is reputable for heavy fuel consumption whilst Toyota Camry is famed for never having a cheaper price tag.

  2. I would say the Honda Civic. its been around since the early seventies, (1972 to be exact) and has sold millions of them across the world and has gained one heck of a reputation at gas mileage no matter matter how much fuel cots, these days. the new Civic, which is what my Grandparents have, and from what they say, they love it. the outside is really good looking, and the interior is outstanding and comfy. trust me, if you want a car that will last a LONG time. buy the Civic.

  3. Definetly the honda dude it wins hands down for reliability

  4. This question is like asking:

Which color is better, beige or taupe?

Who cares...they're both bland and reliable family sedans with some beefy V-6's.

  5. Honda Accord. It holds the title for the most reliable car in the world and it sells better than the Camry overall. But the Camry sells better in North America.

Both get the same gas mileage if you are talking about the new ones.

The older ones from 2003-2006-Honda Accord is better on gas.

Both are very reliable cars and easily last 200,000 miles. But the Honda is more reliable and so it would break less.
