  1. Geico is usually much cheaper than Allstate. My mom had Allstate for years but decided to switch to Geico once she realized how much cheaper they were.  When my mom got in to an accident with Allstate, she had to fight them to get the money for her vehicle.

That being said, car insurance is different for everyone.  What might be cheaper for me might not be for you.  That's why you have to do your research.  I always tell people to compare atleast 3-5 quotes from different insurance companies to see which one offers you the cheapest rate.

  2. For auto insurance the quick way to get a fantastic quote is do a rate comparison on auto policies. Make sure that you choose similar options with the same limits, auto make, location, etc so that all options are a good comparison.

What I always recommend is an internet comparison quote at http://www.InsureAutoNow.info since they have lots of insurers and can give several prices on auto insurance polices.

  3. Try this one - http://carinsurance.enacre.net - I personally switched to their car insurance from Geico, cause it is the cheapest for my family in our area.

As I know they have lowest rates for teens and first time drivers.

  4. the way I do it is I wait till I am due for renewal then I shop around and when I find the cheapest quote I ask my insurers if they can match it, if they cannot then I do not renew and go with the new guys.

If you check out a good comparison site you get to save much time as the site will provide quotes from all main insurers.

  5. I have Geico and there customer service along with coverage for the money is great in my opinion.  I think I was quoted much higher rate by Allstate but no nothing of their service.

  6. Insurance programs are different for everyone depending on their credit & driving history. The only con about Geico is that they don't have offices located everywhere throughout the U.S......I think Allstate has several offices & you'll get that "locally owned business feel" if you use Allstate. I'm sure both companies are equally just as good when it comes to customer satisfaction.

  7. The person who likes having a direct representative (Allstate) might not mind paying the higher premiums that come with that service.  The fact is though that they are just middlemen and by doing away with them Geico keeps their costs low without sacrificing service.  To the person who said Geico only finds 0% negligence in two situations, they are completely wrong.  When you file a claim with Geico, there are numerous categories in which Geico immediately deems it's policy holders to be 0% at fault.  Some, but not all, include.......if a person makes a left turn in front of you and you did not ignore a traffic control (i.e. red light, stop sign, etc), if the person changes lanes into your lane, if the person is pulling out of a parking spot and hits you why you are driving down the aisle, if the other person ignores a traffic control.  ......For the person who wants to blame Geico for finding them more than 0% at fault, the fact is, if you are not at fault at an accident, you can deal with the adverse party's insurance company and get coverage under their insurance's property damage coverage.  . I work in Geico claims, and I know how it works there.   I can also tell you first hand that they go overboard in making sure every employee is focused on customer service.   They make sure that all their claim handlers deal with customers as if the customer is their grandmother.  Definitely look around.  Find what's best for you.   Unlike what someone implied, you do not have to wait to swith insurance companies.   You can swicth companies anytime.    People think 'my insurance company is going to try to avoid paying out on my claim because it will cost them money.'   I can't speak for other insurance companies, but I do know I have been very impressed by how much Geico hates that concept.  Their belief is that paying out quickly, getting the insured back to whole as efficiently and professionally as possible is the key to keeping that policy holder  Here's what you do.   Go to some reputable auto repair places.  Ask them how they like dealing with different auto insurance companies.   I know that one of the services that Geico offers, for free, is to guarntee all repairs for the life of the vehicle as long as the vechicle is owned by the insured.  It's called auto repair express and is a certified repair shop (not owned by Geico) with a Geico adjuster on premise who oversees on your behalf all work.   Why do they do that at no cost?  Becuase again, they want to keep premiums low.   Get things taken care of right the first time and the customer is happy, and the business is more efficient.  But, hey, continue to do what you are doing here: look for people who have been in accidents and compare rates.    Personally, before I was with Geico I had USAA and I was very happy.   You have to be in the military or part of a military family to use them though.  Although I am still in the military (Army Reserves), I switched because I know exactly how this company works.   For the sake of Allstate though, don't ask anyone from New Orleans what they think about Allstate insurance.......On more thing.   Most people never read their policy.   It can seem daunting.   No matter who you go with, make sure that in the end you know your coverage.   If it is with Geico, feel free to call them 24/7 with questions.

  8. just get tons of quotes then go for the cheapest. Why get stuck with just one or the other, they aren't political parties you know and you have freedom of choice with FREE quotes and the internet: why not use it all to SAVE MONEY.

  9. I am not able to totally make sure my answer is fit for your situation. It could be useful anyway,it would better you check out yourself here.http://car-insurance.online-tips.info/ca...

  10. i would pick allstate but that is bcause it was the cheapest for my car. a lot of times geico is cheaper for the same services. you should go to http://u76.org/qc4 and see the different quotes you can get. its reallly easy to use and got me the best price and i saved about 350 dollars.
