The A5 is on the B8 platform, so if you would like a more current model the A5 is your best choice. It is a coupe' so if you'd like a saloon then go for the A6. The A5 is also faster and comes with more current technology, including those awesome LEDs, but the A6 is a fine car as well. If you do not plan on constantly having people in the back, then the A5 is a great choice. If you plan on hauling around kids/clients/friends, then go for the A6.
