  1. you need Ford focus 1.6, it has both muscle and low on Petrol.

Performance, it is superb, upto date with technology.

  2. metro

  3. Honey there is no such thing as a cheap car to run it's only an urban legend...lol,

anyway, I have a little Sunfire and it costs me about 50 bucks a week for gas just to fill it up..good luck

  4. I suggest the Scion tC. You can get a fully decked out tC for around $19,000. They're not sports cars but they get near 30mpg on the highway and they'll definitely move you through traffic.

  5. Oommpphh and cheap to run never apply to the same car.

What you need is a mo ped.

  6. no cars with oommpphh are cheep to run for low tax and good fuel consumpyion you need to look ar vintage ie. spitfire

  7. Audi A3. 2.0 TDI matches that Vectra easily, 48 MPG, a little smaller, but it depends how big you want you car and how many kids etc.

  8. Toyota Corolla XRS

    Cheap, 186 Horses, 6-speed manual.

    Plenty of oomph.

  9. I am in the same boat. My 2.0 Golf gti 16v (150bhp) is costing me an arm and a leg to run.

There are very few cars that have oommpphh that are cheap to run I hate to say :0 (

  10. Get a bike

  11. get the pinto lol

  12. Depending on how much you want to spend, a mustang might be a good option, or a toyota, or honda?? Hondas are very cheap to run, and aint too bad on insurance, and if you feel the need for more oommpphh, they are really easy to find upgradable parts for. A toyota is also a good car that is cheap to run and aint too bad on insurance. Aftermarket parts will be a little harder to find than a honda, if you feel the need for more power. As for a mustang, instead of getting a gas guzzler V8, try the V6, it will be fairly good on gas, and shouldn't be too bad on insurance, and still, if you fell the need for more power, aftermarket parts are available, and wont be too har to find. Either way, they are all great cars. You cant loose. Good Luck.

  13. cheap to tax? small engine

cheap to run ? small engine or one with hybrid engine or LPG

    depends on ya budget.

I have a 1.4 metro and it's not too bad, got it due to not being able to park around here, no spaces. but it's injection, so it's quite good on the motorway also.

  14. Go out and get a Honda CRX, they're a bit older but they have decent oomph if you get the right motor plus very reliable... you can run them easilly into the 200k plus mile range if taken care of..
