Which car is better in the gulf area??

I'm planning to buy a new car, I'm a foreigner living in the gulf. I'm confused of what car goes on well in the gulf, the american cars (like chrysler) or the german cars (like VW)...thx

Hi, I'm living in the gulf area sine 27 years back. so if you want to buy new car , don't look for fuel consumption because the Fuel is so cheap comparison to any place else. so look on the size of the car and other features like engine speed and number of seats. as per my experience american cars are the best because you can find spare parts and service very cheap compare to German or euroupian cars. so i think you have to buy american car.
