Which car is faster? acura tl or accord coupe?

Acura TL is a luxury car, which means more weight.

I have a '96 Acura 3.2TL and I raced my freind who just bought a 2008 Honda Accord V6 and we were very close all the way, he just beat me by a foot or two on the stretch.  So seeing as though Acura has probably made modifications to their model since 1996, I would say if they are both the same year cars, The TL would win.

Remember though that Acura is owned by Honda and both these cars use the same honda engine, but Acura is honda's premium make and the TL would probably prevail over the accord.

I think when it really comes down to it though, it would really depend upon the driver and how comfortable they are with the cars.

The '08 Acura TL Type-S w/6-speed VS '08 Honda Accord Coupe w/6-speed would be pretty close since they have similar power to weight ratios. It would come down to the better driver.

Me - 2005 Acura TL

My friend - 2008 Accord coupe V6

Beat my friend in the quarter and to 100.  Although he did kick my *** in a track...yeah the TL doesn't handle well at all.
