Which car is most 'Old Peoplish'?

I'm trying to settle an argument over which car is most old peopleish. Cadillac CTS, Lincoln MKZ, and Chrysler 300. And which brand, in general, is most old peopleish.

I say most old peopleish is the MKZ, then the 300, and then the Cadi. She says the opposite order. We are of different generations so I'm wondering how that affects things as well. If you could include your approx. age with the results that'd be great. Thanks!

  1. I think the 300 is the most elderly-ish, then the MKZ, then the CTS.  I'm 18 and actually like the CTS.  The 300 and MKZ, in my humble opinion, and both fugly.  The epitome of old-people-cars is anything made by Buick, the Oldsmobile Ninty-Eight, and the Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis/Town Car triplets.  And I don't know if it's just where I live, but a TON of old ladies drive little cars like Escorts and Neons.

  2. Any Subaru.

    Corvettes (any year)

    Camaros

Why, because I see a lot  more old timers driving them then younger people and they have to be old if  I call them that.

    I am 58

  3. Caddy

  4. All three can be listed in any order, depending on how they are equipped.  But in general Lincoln, Chrysler, then Caddy- old to young.  But a tricked out 300c with 22s trumps an ordinary Caddy and I am not aware of any tricked out MKZ.  It seems that 30 - mid 40s own all those types.  More men, I noticed drive the 300's, more women in Lincolns, maybe close to half on the Caddy.  I am 50 and if I went to American it would be the Caddy but not for old people reasons- I think GM gets it on interior as well as fun to drive with reasonable power and economy.  Lincoln does not have individual shifting of gears (shift pattern reads P R N D L- not 4,3,2,1) and Chrysler needs to improve their interior materials especially the dash.  I love Audi's.

  5. A Chrysler 300C? Are you serious! In Aus these cars are considered a status symbol and they are more popular than ricer tuner cars.

Im not familiar with any of these cars, besides the 300C and im not totally sure that they would be the same here as you have.

From my point of view, the Old Person Car in Australia would be Toyota Avalon. When ever I see a Avalon I go into defensive mode.

The other obvious answer is anything made by Volvo

  6. i'm 35 and an old pple-ish car is BUICK and anything long like a caddy sts cts is more stylish lincoln town cars are for old pple too,,, hey i (cough cough) aint old (cough wheeez cough) O.K.,,,

  7. Im 16 and I think your right the MKZ and the 300 are old peopleish.

Um I also see a ton of old people in the oldsmobiles that are p**p brown.

  8. Of the 3 it is the MKZ. Only old, traditional men buy it, and sometimes those with inferiority complexes, to make them big.  On the plus side, they are still proud Americans, and could be rerspected Veterans.  Thank you.

The CTS and 300 are almost sports cars and true sports sedans in the mercedes/BMW league, personal luxury and performance sedans.

The real old people's car is a Buick Century, before that, the LeSabre.

  9. Buicks, Cadillacs, and Lincolns are the most "old-peoplish" cars on the road.

  10. I'd say a tie between the Lincoln and the Cadillac as I was under the impression that was the target market for the two brands.  300 really is more diverse.  I am young yet old enough to post.
