Which car should I buy....1993 Lexus ES300 or 1999 Acura 2.3 CL?

Question

Ok, the Lexus has only 90,000 miles on it, but it does have a V6 which would be a little ruff on gas. Plus, I know it's a "Lexus" but it's still 15 years old.

Now, the Acura has 117,000 miles on it, and it has a 4 cylinder which is much better on gas. I'm sure Acura must be a great car too since it's made by Honda. Right?

Both cars are in very good shape inside and out.

The Lexus is $5,700

The Acura is $5,500

Which one should I go with?

Acura;

the acura is more fun to drive, has better handling, and looks alot more attractive than the lexus.

Plus, the lexus has a V6, and trust me, the earlier toyota V6's aren't great at all.

for $6,000 you can get

Acura CL 2001

Infiniti G20 99-00

the 93 is worth less than $4,000 and the 99 just at $4,000 no more. these cars are overpriced 20%.

As I know Lexus ES300 is very expensive to insure.

Lexus is made by Toyota  and Acura is made by Honda.. theyre both good cars.. however since theyre almost the same price i would go with the acura because of the 6 year advantage plus the 4 cylinder engine. Theyre both the same quality even tho you would think lexus is better but its really not. its just more glorified!  i wouldnt worry about the miles factor because they both got another 200,000 miles to go if driven good.

Get the Lexus

I have a 91 ES250 and it is AWESOME

it's so cute and really reliable

and the PRESTIGE of a LEXUS!!!!!!!!!

It has the reliability of a Camry because it IS a Camry!

And the ES can use regular too!

The Acura requires premium

(All Acuras require premium except the Integra)

(All Lexus require premium except the ES models)

Also, the Lexus is four doors; the Acura only has two doors
