  1. GTO all the way.

  2. The Goat would be very cool, as much as I dislike clones. The Stang would be my choice if it had a big block though.

  3. That's a tough decision. I'm going with the GTO,but everyone else in this section will say Mustang. (flip a quarter?)

  4. I'd rather have the '67 GTO Clone.  And later when the engine needs rebuilding, you can replace the crank shaft with one from a 455ci.  The 455ci will give you tons of torque and a very fast car!

  5. I would hope it isn't a clone of the Monkey's 67 GTO.

More of a sedan, family car than a sports car.  Without some agressive trim, rims, tires, paint and postering it just doesn't have that Muscle look like a Mustang.

I would go with the Mustang.

  6. Mustangs are a dime a dozen and Pontiac GTO's or LeMans are very rare and stand out in the crowd as far as I am concerned. What you need to do is compare the 2 cars to decide which one needs the least amount of work. The Mustang will have many parts available but the LeMans / GTO parts are becoming more available than before. When it comes to inspecting old 60s cars really check rear quater panels for bondo or hidden rust or rott. Check the trunk areas under the mat to make sure they are in good solid shape and just pick the one that needs the least or the one that YOU feel fits you the best.

    Good Luck.

  7. I'm not a big fan of clones...but I would have to go with the GTO
