Alright, with the gas prices going up and everything, im planning on getting another car that saves gas yet is nice to drive. The 2 cars im planning on is a new 2008 civic sedan ex or a 2008 gti DSG. the Civic uses regular unleaded, GTI uses premium. But overall, ive read on the GTI forums that it gets around 25-28 mpg, and civic gets around 25-27 mpg. And if you chip the GTI, you get possibly even better mpg. So which car would be a better choice, 08 civic or 08 gti dsg? Overall im looking for a car that saves gas yet is nice to drive.

  1. Honda Civic, for the win.  I love Civics.  Can't go wrong.

  2. Once you drive the GTI for a while, you'll never give up a German car. The Civic is a great car, no doubt. The GTI, however, is having you cake and eating it too. The interior alone is worth the price of admission. Plus the DSG is wicked quick and is unmatched by the big dollar cars.

  3. There's really not much difference. Go for the one that uses regular; it will be considerably cheaper in the long run.

  4. The civic will still end up being cheaper

  5. CIVIC HANDS DOWN! dude, you can drive that car forever!....

  6. chevy malibu! unbeliavable gas mileage when driven properly. fast too! 29-35 mpg
