Which car year do you prefer for the eclipse gsx and why? 95-99...?

If I were you i'd stay away from an eclipse. I know of at least 4 people that have had to replace the tranny after about 100K miles. Just thought i'd give you a heads up

None, the 90's eclipses are notoriously unreliable unless meticulously maintained, neighbor had a 2000? eclipse and motor started smoking and then later blew the head gasket at under 30k miles. Had to replace the motor, then they sold it.

Hard call. 1995 is OBD-I, 97+ is better front styling and all years crankwalk.
