I am toying with the idea of going back to school, but I'm having trouble deciding which program to choose. It is between paralegal or pharmacy technician. Paralegal is a two year program and pharmacy tech is a year program. I am leaning more towards legal assistant, but what do you all think?

  1. Both fields are in high demand.  The pharmacy technician spends more hours standing on his/her feet and dealing with the public, who are sometimes confused, upset, or hearing-impaired.

The paralegal works in air-conditioned offices using a lot of office software, sometimes putting in long hours as the attorneys prepare to appear in court.  The paralegal, depending on whether the job is in a large corporation or a smaller legal office, has work assignments of his or her own and is more independent and respected.  In some cases a paralegal is also the office manager, handling office supplies, arranging temporary help if the receptionist is sick, etc.

  2. Choose what is interesting for you... If your familiar with law , then continue Paralegal and being a legal assistant is smart & can earn more in future

Pharmacist are low paid then legal assistant... so forget it...

    Law is great!

    Best of Luck!
