Which career would fit me best...I just cant seem to decide!

Question

I am having a hard time deciding what I would like to do with the rest of my life as far as a career. Please help with some ideas based on the info below. Thank you very much!

Things I like...

Being around people.

socializing

being active.

computers.

investigating.

putting stuff in order, sorting and counting.

entering info. into a computer

doing reasearch.

traveling

writing

outdoor activities.

Plz no at home work or businesses!

Accounting! Bookkeeping fits all of that.

There's a lot of fun stuff to do. Pick something and stick with it. Within every field of study there are different careers.

Go to the website for a local university or a university in a city you would consider moving to. Or just look at any of them, www.fsu.edu, to get some ideas. Find the degrees they offer and read about the programs. The college departmental websites have a ton of information about what types of careers are available within each field.

If you do this you'll get more ideas, but you have to take the initiative to start something. Don't stall forever because you can't choose, and if you don't like what you chose, it's not a death sentence, you can always change your mind later.

Based solely on the information you gave, a career working in law enforcement might be appropriate.  You could work as an investigator or criminologist.  That type of career would incorporate most of the things you listed.  You would have to decide if the risks associated with that field are okay with you.  Also, most of those types of jobs require some type of college degree (depending on where you live, you could get away with just a 2-year associates degree).  Good luck in your hunt.
