Which causes the most damage when cleaning plastic headlights?

Polish or rubbing compound. which is worst?

The rubbing compound would cause more damage because it is much coarser than polish, which has finer abrasives.

The closer you get to sandpaper the more damage you will do.

Using too heavy of a sandpaper? I usually use like 600grit and then 1000grit then use a plastic polish/rubbing compound.

neither causes damage  as the headlight is allready damaged

use brass pollish and a buffing wheel

a point blank blast from a 10 gauge shotgun will damage it real bad!!!!
